ABOUT US

We are a friendly & competitive basketball club, operating in central London & west London areas. We have team & open sessions in areas like Ealing, Hammersmith, Hounslow & Paddington. The club also provides age group teams for players aged 6 to 18. Our goal is to teach as many young people the fun & exciting game of basketball. All abilities are welcome, whether you're a beginner or a player aiming for the highest level. We can help you achieve your goals.

The NBA has been involved with the club for the past year helped to support our Easter holiday camp 2022. Associate vice president for Europe & the Middle-East Neal Meyers heard about our story through club coach Mike and wanted to support us Bounce Back after the lockdown.

 

Easter camp 2022 marked the 1 year anniversary of our link with the NBA who have supported us since the club was impacted by the pandemic. To mark this occasion Easter camp 2022 was visited by NBA champion & 3 time NBA All-Star Richard Rip Hamilton.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE

 Our aim at Chiswick Gators is bringing Basketball to Children in West London our professional but fun approach creates an unparalleled experience for our members and players. All our coaches are DBS checked and first aid trained  practice days are on Friday from 6pm-8pm at the Gunnersbury Sports Hub, Popes Lane, London, W3 8LQ.

Training sessions at the Gunnersbury Sports Hub stops during school & public holidays. Stay updated on current news & club information via our Twitter Instagram and Facebook account, as some sessions can be subject to change.

The Coach Ali Foundation is a registered charity set up in memory of much-loved player, coach & founder of our club Ali Abucar Ali.

The main goal of the foundation is to help young people achieve their fullest potential in the sport of basketball. If its to play at the highest level, become a coach, a club administrator, basketball official or club media reporter. Young people are the future of our society & we want to help them grow.

​

The Coach Ali Foundation will help more young people reach their goal through sport. In the words of many we want more young people to "Be More Ali"
